Emergency signs are instantly recognisable by their white text and white pictograms on green backgrounds.
The most common emergency signs are fire exit signs.Fire exit signs are typically placed to help direct people to the nearest point of exit in the event of a fire, giving safe passage with adequate fire safety measures in place.
First aid is also a common use case in emergency exit signs, used to direct people to first aid kits, and medical kits for specific areas of the body (e.g. eye wash station).
